Fr. Francis Lucas, president and CEO of the Catholic Media Network, reminded Filipino Catholics that Holy Week is a time for reflection.

In an interview with GMA News’ Unang Balita, Lucas explained that starting on Palm Sunday, the rituals performed are invitations to connect with the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Nowadays, people prefer to use the Holy Week to go on a vacation, and even those who are performing Visita Iglesia forget that it should be a pensive visit.
