The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) said on Monday, March 19, that they discovered some sanitation and environmental violations in several parts of El Nido, Palawan.
Sewage could be seen being discharged towards the sea in Barangay Masagana and Barangay Buena Serte, according to the DENR. Also, commercial establishments and residential areas in Bacuit Bay had been built over the three-meter easement zone.
